I must say, for the longest I was using a generic drug store curling wand, and I was content with the performance. Nevertheless, with this foxy hair wand my curls were smooth and had no static, if your hair is fine like mine, then you know exactly what I’m talking about! Lastly, with this FOXYBAE wand your able to bring up the heat up to 430° and it heats up very quickly.

I thought 360° was enough for me, since the heat is strong. Something else I love is the wands screen will display “off” if it’s off and connected to the outlet. The screen also displays how hot the wand is and how high you want it to be. For instance, you might have turned it up to 360° but the wand is at 330° now, displaying both temperatures. This comes in handy once you’ve turned it off and you think is no longer hot, well it will tell you if it is.

 

All in all, there’s so much to love about this curling wand but the most impressive thing I learned, is that indeed, it matters what type of heating tools you use. For so long I had the impression that any tool can do the job, which is true, however your hair will in the end pay for it. I now believe it is worth to splurge (a little) on something so important as your hair. Especially, if you’re already going to be using something that it will inherently damage it, mind as well go for the one that will damage it the least.
